Sunday Morning In Home Session

On Sunday I got to hang out with Dawn + Marcus. It was at Dawn’s birthday in October when one of her friends asked me how I knew her. I’ve honestly just known her for so long that I couldn’t answer the question. However, she remembered that we actually met working at American Eagle 10 or so years ago. When I was a student at OCAD, Dawn would model for me and deal with my horrible cropping and zero clue how to edit back then. So having her in Calgary with me, and in front of my camera again 10 years later is honestly such a treat. These two babes met at Bellwoods Brewery in Toronto on a blind date. As Dawn put it, they met first through hearing each other’s voices, so I absolutely love the framed prints from the brewery in their home. We spent that morning hanging out, listening to records and City & Colour. Shots were had to take the edge off of being in front of the camera and beers were had to celebrate a killer session. So here are some of my favourites from the day, and man it was SO hard to narrow it down.
