Calgary Backyard Wedding

In October, I had the opportunity to photograph the sweetest intimate backyard wedding with the closest family and friends in attendance. I met with Amie and Cole that afternoon for some portraits before the ceremony, and spent an hour that felt more like friends having their photos taken over anything else. After portraits we were off to Airdrie for the ceremony at Amie’s father’s house. The basement was turned into a beautiful reception space with tables & snacks on snacks. Outside there were blankets, a hot chocolate bar and the most beautiful ceremony space. The circular arch with macrame was hands down one of my favourite pieces! Sunset portraits were unfortunately rained out, so we took shelter under a large wooden archway in Nose Creek Park. We made the most of it with a private first dance, which I had the absolute pleasure of DJ-ing with Apple Music. I had the hardest time narrowing down which images to use for this post since I love them all so much. Congratulations again you two! <3
