I don’t ever want you to feel like you’re overwhelmed or alone on your wedding planning journey. Planning a wedding is a lot of work and as someone who’s been to several, I’m here to help. From location suggestions, vendor recommendations, guides and more, I will be there to support you through the planning process with my expertise.

Once you’re in front of the camera, I will guide you through the poses (or rather, unposes) that focus on your genuine connection. (That’s what we’re here for after all) You will look back on your photos years from now and be transported back to how you felt in the moment. And that’s one of the reasons why I love what I do, I do it for you.

Getting to know you

BEFORE the wedding

I’d love to know as much about your day as possible, no matter what stage you’re at with your planning process, I’d love to hear all about your wedding plans (so far). We can hop on a complimentary call and answer any questions you may have. Once you’re booked in, I will check in with you 6 months, 3 months and 1 month out to see if there is anything I can help with regarding planning.

I will send out an icebreaker questionnaire before your engagement session to get to know you and your partner before you’re in front of the camera to ensure the experience is about you and your story. I will send you a wedding questionnaire 3 months out from your day to get an idea of the flow of your day and help you build your timeline.

The day of

and what i capture

I let your day unfold naturally to allow you and your guests to be yourselves. A lot of my photos are candid and in the moment, with some direction being given during formal portraits. I want you to look back on your photos and be transported back to the day and remember how you felt in the moment. To me, wedding photography is the art of noticing, meaning I am always watching for any moments unfolding – the big laughs, the quiet tears, the stolen glances and everything in between to tell the story of your day.

You receive your images

and relive the day

You will receive sneak peeks within the week while I get to work on your images. My work is a mix of fine art – editorial portraiture and emotive documentary style photos. The edits are filmy, moody and true to colour with a mix of timeless black and white photos you’ll be eager to display on your walls.

GOT SOME QUESTIONS?

I shoot with two cameras that are both using dual memory card slots to backup to a second memory card as I’m shooting. This is for incase something goes wrong with one memory card, I have a copy. After the wedding I backup the images onto two hard drives and a cloud.

You will receive a selection of the best images from the day in an online gallery. The images will be edited and available in high resolution (for printing) and web resolution (for online sharing).

This all depends on seasonal workload. I typically have a 4-6 week turnaround time for weddings, 3-4 weeks for elopements and 1-2 weeks for engagement sessions. During high volume in the summer, turnaround time can be anywhere from 8-12 weeks.

OF COURSE! Your images deserve to live on the walls of your home and within the pages of heirloom albums. There are printing options through your gallery for various prints and products. Album options are also available through your gallery or by placing an order directly through myself.

I typically book 12-18 months in advance for weddings. Elopements being more spontaneous can be booked 6 months out or less. Engagement sessions are booked on weekdays, anytime before your wedding day.

Set up a free consult, sign a contract, pay your non-refundable retainer and you’re set! Interac e-transfer and credit card are the methods of payment.
