Romantic Banff Springs Wedding

For couples drawn to the grandeur of the Canadian Rockies, this romantic Banff Springs wedding was the perfect way to start my 2025 wedding season.

romantic banff springs wedding – The Wedding Morning

Charity and Jack’s romantic Banff Springs wedding was nothing short of perfect. From the weather being on our side, giving us a beautiful sunny day instead of spring snow (especially in May in Banff!) to working alongside some incredible vendors that brought this day to life.

Charity and Jack’s wedding morning started off with them getting ready at the hotel in anticipation for their first look. We planned for a relaxed day with portraits taking place before the ceremony. The incredibly talented ladies from Lilies and Lace spent the morning with us doing Charity’s hair and makeup. Charity wore a stunning Jenny Yoo wedding gown that made her look absolutely breathtaking.

Portraits around the castle

Charity and Jack had a private first look on the staircase outside the Cascade Ballroom. One of my favourite things about the Banff Springs is that there is no shortage of beautiful spots around the hotel for elegant portraits. From the Spanish Walk to Mt. Stephen Hall, and even the grounds, the architecture at the Banff Springs is truly unmatched. It is easily one of my favourite wedding venues in Banff.

Ceremony

The beautiful weather allowed us to proceed with having the ceremony set up on the terrace, with a stunning floral arch by Willow Flower Co. it was the spring floral palette of my dreams. From soft blues, pinks, white and lilac tones, these were the perfect flowers for a spring wedding. The ceremony was officiated by Charity’s father, which was a beautiful way to personalize their ceremony.

Cocktail Hour & Reception

Cocktail hour and reception was held in the renowned Mt. Stephen Hall, which was beautifully set up by the team at Something New Banff. Two large tables lined the space with an intimate sweetheart table reserved for the couple. Large candelabras were the focal centerpieces on the tables as smaller floral arrangements lined the tables. The reception was MC’d by my good friend Rob with Class Act DJ. He kept the vibes high when the dancefloor opened and the party got started.
