Wedding ceremony set up at the Nash in Calgary

Calgary Restaurant Wedding Venues

There are some incredible Calgary restaurant wedding venues that are perfect for weddings of all sizes. Finding a wedding venue can be an overwhelming first step to wedding planning as there are so many incredible options for wedding venues in the city of Calgary. Here are some of my favourite Calgary restaurant wedding venues in no particular order.

1. The Nash

Located in Calgary’s historic Inglewood neighbourhood, The Nash is nestled inside the recently restored National Hotel. Paying tribute to the rich history of the neighbourhood, The Nash takes inspiration not only from the hotel’s original design, but also tastefully showcases the less than savoury side of that history with a collection of mugshots from the British Archives in the Off Cut Bar. The use of high quality natural ingredients is what makes The Nash one of the most memorable venues because the food has always been incredible any time I have been there. The Nash’s proximity to not only Inglewood but downtown as well, leaves no shortage of possibilities for wedding portrait locations all within 10 minutes of the venue.

2. charbar

Located in the historic Simmons building in East Village, Charbar’s historic status makes this venue truly one of a kind. Known for its Argentine culinary influence and fresh ingredients, Charbar has vegetarian and celiac options which is perfect if you have guests with dietary restrictions. Charbar also has a stunning rooftop patio that overlooks downtown and the Bow River, and can be rented out for wedding ceremonies. The exposed brick walls, fir posts and original windows on the second floor reflect the historic charm of the building which makes it a stunning backdrop for weddings with little decor required.
